CLM job posting

Pay: $13-$17.50 per hour (determined based on education & experience)
Job Type: Part-time or Full-time
Days: Monday to Friday
Located in McFarland WI

We are looking for passionate, early childhood educators to join our amazing team! We offer a fun and creative work environment teaching at the toddler, preschool, and school-age levels through 4^th grade (ages 2-1/2 to 10 years). Positions’ days and times are flexible which is convenient for students or parents of young children.

Child Life Ministries (CLM) is a McFarland-based nonprofit organization, an outreach ministry of McFarland Lutheran Church that provides high-quality educational opportunities to children of the McFarland and surrounding community.

Current Positions – days and times can be somewhat flexible:

• Rainbow Center North Assistant in the 4 to 5-year-old class 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm (Hours are flexible)
• School Age Assistant in the 5 to 10-year-old class from 2:00 pm – 5:15 pm (Hours are flexible)

Requirements:

• Assistant teacher certification (we will help you obtain this once hired if needed)
• High school or equivalent required
• One year of working with children in some capacity
• A state-required criminal background check will be performed prior to working
• Must be capable of working independently as well as collaborating with a co-teacher
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• A strong work ethic and reliability
• Consistently communicating with co-workers and families in a professional manner
• Religious affiliated with McFarland Lutheran Church, or any church not required to be considered
