Confirmation Class

Following in the Lutheran tradition of Confirmation, middle school students will learn about the Bible and Lutheran tradition to prepare for a reaffirmation of their baptism at the beginning of their freshman year of high school. 

Confirmation classes are held on Wednesdays at 6:30pm during the school year. In Confirmation, students will learn about both the Old and New Testaments as well as the history and traditions of the Lutheran Church.

Leadership:

Our confirmation class is taught by our Student Ministry Director, Sam Marrese-Wheeler.

At MLC, we strive to maintain a dual-adult leadership safety policy. This means that at least two adults who aren’t related must supervise all our activities involving children under the age of 18. If you’ve been a member for at least 6 months, and you’d like to volunteer to help supervise Confirmation, please reach out to our director at smwheeler@mcfarlandlutheran.org.
