Hello! Some of you may already know me from my work on the COVID-19 Task Force or the Health & Social Wellness committee. I’m Christina Hughey. Though we were both raised Episcopalian, MLC felt so welcoming that my wife (Meredith) and I decided to become MLC members in March 2020. We have a fun and energetic 3.5 year-old, Henry. We are originally from Kansas City and moved to Madison a little over 3 years ago for my internal medicine residency at UW. I graduated from residency in June and will stay in Madison for several more years as I complete a cardiology fellowship. In my free time I enjoy spending time with Henry, running, biking, hiking, kayaking, eating, and playing guitar. I’m excited to work with all of you and serve on the council!
My Name is Paul Hundt. I live with my wife Susan here in McFarland, WI. We have four adult children and 2 grandchildren. We also have a dog, a cat and 4 aquariums. I am new to MLC and I have been a member for 2 years plus. I am currently employed as a senior consultant for Nassco Inc. in Madison, WI for the past 20 years. My passion in life is helping others and being of service to others.
Husband Wes and I live on a 15-acre farm on County Road AB where we raised two daughters, horses and garden produce. We are all Badger fans as Wes and I got our Master’s degrees and Katie and Sara their undergrad degrees from the UW. We attended Lakedge Lutheran for a while and joined McFarland Lutheran in 1977. I have taught Sunday School, served on the Personnel Committee and made lots of soup for Lenten suppers. I served as the Dane County Register of Deeds for 18 years and am now retired. I am the facilities manager of the Larson House Museum, serve on the McFarland Historical Society Board of Directors and the Dane County Historical Society Board of Directors. I practice yoga, enjoy reading, tending our flower gardens, picnicking in the backyard with friends and family, traveling and working with friends at the Larson House.
Hello Church Family! My name is Jon Schadeberg and I will be serving on the Church Council. I recently moved from McFarland to Stoughton with my wife Gretchen and our 9-month old son Henry. We joined the church back in 2018 and have thoroughly loved getting connected with everyone, especially our 20s, 30s, and 40s group. During the day I work as a Regional Manager for Dorner Manufacturing Corporation, located in Hartland, WI. After work, I enjoy long distance running, gardening/working in the yard, and taking my son to the local splash pad. I grew up in Waunakee and was a longtime member of Peace Lutheran Church. I am glad to be a member at MLC and look forward to the positive impact I can make for our church community!
