Erin Kraemer

Hometown: Elderon, WI
How long with MLC: Approx. 10 years
Brief Family Details: We have lived in McFarland for 14 years. My husband, Derek and I have a 7-year-old son, Colin and 3-year-old daughter, Isabelle.
Faith Story: As a child I attended religious education classes and weekly Sunday services. During college, I struggled to find a church community I felt connected with. After marrying my husband and moving to McFarland, we found McFarland Luthern Church and fell in love with it’s welcoming congregation and it’s involvement in the McFarland community. MLC has reinvigorated my passion to be involved in church. This year I was excited to join the Bell Choir.
Fun Fact: I grew up as a the 4th generation living on the family homestead which was settled in 1878 and was the Marathon County Agriculture Ambassador/ Fairest of the Fair in college.

Matt Lancaster

Hometown: Monroe, WI
How long with MLC: 8 years
Brief Family Details: My wife Tanya and I live in McFarland. We have two children, Henry (8) and Grace (5).
Faith Story: Moving to McFarland allowed us to join MLC, and it has been a blessing. Our children love attending CLM, and we value the guidance it provides. Through good times and difficult ones, God has been there to guide us. As we journey onward God enrichens us with His word, His people and His presence.
Fun Fact: I have attended (probably) over 200 concerts, and plan to attend 6 in the next 2 months!

Sharon Mylrea

Hometown: Reedsburg, WI
How long with MLC: 34 years
Family Details: My husband Wayne and I have lived in McFarland since 1986. We were blessed with two sons and one daughter, and now we have four precious grandchildren, too!
Faith Story: My faith story is really God’s story because He’s the one who has loved me and cared for me and been with me from the very start! I can’t really begin to understand God. I don’t understand creation, salvation, forgiveness, mercy and LOTS of other things. But I do TRUST HIM and I know that He’s ALWAYS there for me and for everyone, and that’s the best blessing and the best relationship I could ever have!
Fun Fact: I grew up on a small dairy farm near Reedsburg, and I learned a lot of very valuable lessons there. My parents loved me and my sisters so much, and they did so much to provide for us, care for us, and have FUN with us. The days I spent growing up on that farm were precious (even when they weren’t easy)! I was taught to always value my family and my friends, and that’s where a lot of my “fun facts” come from!
